Got the scope mount off, and a correct rear sight back on. Just needs a gunsmith to go over the action and iron out a few kinks it has, and it should be good to go and defending my freedoms from North Korea in no time.

Here's an odd duck..........A Walther that had the slide scrubbed and a Turkish roll mark with made in Turkey stamped on it. Imported by Firearms Center Inc. in Victoria Texas......if you look closely, they even scrubbed Walther from the grips.............

    Looks badass. Does it work?

Well, it was very minimally out of time on one cylinder, and the single action trigger had some problems too once I got home and started dry firing it with snap caps. I think it has something to do with the mainspring under the grip. There’s evidence that the previous owner had a trigger job done as i can see some type of frog lube colored grease inside through the hammer slot, and the single action trigger was very light while it still worked.

I sent it back to S&W to have them overhaul it and bring it back to 100%. It’ll be 4 or 5 months before I get it back but I want it to function as well as it looks before I shoot it, and I think it’s worth the money. Plus, I’m assuming that after the repair costs, I’ll still come out on top on what I have into the gun, so I’m still very optimistic and happy with the purchase. I’d go as far to say I’d do it again knowing it had some issues as I think it’s a gun worth saving that I’ve always wanted.
