Stumbled upon here looking for more sources for buying/ trading. I've been into 3d printing for about a year now and have uh, several functional printed firearms. I'm happy to answer any questions people have about 3d printing in general or how it relates to firearms.

I stopped counting on my g17 frame around 500, it's 1k+ at this point.

Yeah, sorta. I have one printed but I don't have the ability to make the rails right now and the place that is supposed to be making them is taking their sweet time. Everything fits good, Ivan did great on that design

The easist way to figure out if someone works for the ATF is to ask them the same question multiple times.

If they give different answers, they are ATF

Or, post a .gif of a dog. If they are an ATF agent, they will instinctively shoot their monitor.

Kinda maybe. Cody Wilson drew a lot of attention by releasing an ar15 data package that wasn't accurate. His company builds and supplies the ghost gunner which mills ar lowers and a couple other things. They were posting the files for printed guns but I don't believe ant of the development was done by them

What are you printing it on? Which filament have you found works the best? I assume you're printing at 100% infill, you dealing with any dimensional shrinkage or warpage issues?

Oh, and clean up your edges where you took off the supports man!

I like esun pla+ and ziro pla

I get better results with 99% infill, not really sure why. No dimensional issues or warping.

Meh, I view these as disposable. They will break eventually and the cost is so low I don't really care, I'd rather spend my time doing other things than cleaning the prints. If I was worried about the aesthetics I would print them upside down
