Depends on whether or not you suck at it, honestly.Modifying a gun seems dangerous and crazy to me! These are not toys or electronics or DIY projects. Loss of lives or body parts could result. I'm just saying.
I bet you did that to your Wilson Combat too.I stipple all my 1911s with a center punch. @Moonpie taught me that.

That Glock is ruined and only worth 1.5 1911's. Bad comparison. There's more issues with that Glock than TX OMFS has. and that's a LOT.
Are there any original parts left?.....My current Beretta 92 modification routine:
Replace plastic grips with rubber or metal ones.
Replace plastic recoil guide rod with metal one.
Replace plastic mag release with metal extended one.
Replace plastic trigger with metal one.
Replace trigger spring with a Wolff Trigger Conversion Unit.
Replace hammer with a skeletonized one.
Replace hammer spring with one rated 14#.
Replace sights with night sights.
Replace plastic lanyard/hammer spring plug with metal one.
Replace entire manual safety assembly on slide with G Model Decocker only kit.
Now the "modified" Beretta 92 is acceptable...
