Today was 45-70 day. I only loaded 10, and I'm headed to the range tomorrow to see how they work. 300gr jacketed hollow point over 13 grains of Unique. I'll be using my Henry Case Color Hardened H010CC with a 22" octagon barrel, and the large loop lever. Semi Buckhorn rear sight. I'll only be shooting at 100 yards, but if it goes well, I might push out to 200 just for fun

Loaded some 458 SOCOM rounds. Lots of piggies coming to the feeder. 300g pill on top of 28.7g of H110. Good call Flash. These are cheap and accurate.

I have seen a few loaded rounds go off because of people using shell holders instead of the supplied collets.

    Not recommended.

Done thousands upon thousands, never once had one gone off. There is absolutely no difference in a shellholder and a collet for that application, turn the collet to face up if you are worried. Sounds to me like there were factors distinct from the actual pulling that caused the issue, I'd bet a fair amount of user error. I'll keep using my shell holders and leave the worn out collet rings to others. :)

Made it to an indoor range with a few work guys yesterday. Shot a couple nice guns and picked up a lot of brass. Brought along the 450 to test out a load for accuracy and it was dead on. In fact, it was so dead on that the first shot with new flip up sights that haven't even been adjusted hit dead center of my aim point, even at a very short range. I put 3 rounds through 1 hole. And boy did it light up the room!!!

I'm now a legend with the guys at work for taking the great fire breathing dragon that kicks like an elephant with 3 rounds in 1 hole. And to top it off I found my load for the 450

today i did nothing in the "world of reloading". yesterday? i ordered the new dillon 1100 w/bullet feeder in 45acp. my left thumb don't work so well and feeding slugs into my 550 becomes painful as hell after the first few. so, i bit the bullet and ordered the 1100. be a coupla weeks b4 it gets here

Boy, this is a sweet load. Light recoil, and pretty accurate. As accurate as I could be without optics and shooting offhand, five round groups were all within 4 inches. This I like! Now, Ill put a scope on it and see what I can do at 200 yards
