1st morning of stay at home in Denton.
Traffic is pretty light. Lots of "necessary" people though.

Wondering now that the USA has over 79K corona cases confirmed, only surpassed by China and Italy... When will the President declare a national shelter in place / travel ban. Alaska has closed it's borders, Mexico is demanding Americans go home (weird one there) and several states have virtually shut travel down only authorized travel permitted.

I hope he doesn't. Just like I hope the governor doesn't do a statewide. These decisions need to remain on a fairly local level.

This whole thing stinks to high heaven. The government is shutting down certain businesses. It's like they are choosing which ones will continue or fail. I always thought essential personnel was police, fire, medical etc. How is the dang golf course still open? They are releasing prisoners but threaten to fine/jail people who break the lock down. At what point do we say screw the govt and disobey by going back to work and getting the economy back on track?

If the evening traffic is any indication, damn few stayed at home.

Traffic in SATX is definately less right now,but definately not essential personnel. Heck, even taco bell is still open.
