I hope someone stuck the safe hearing act in there. And national reciprocity.
Not me - I thought about it, but that'll pay off my '58. One of these days, the bank's gonna get tired of me taking out 48-month loans an' payin' 'em off in under a year.....lol
If I did end up with a stimulus check, a new revolver in 454 Casull will be added to the collection! Woot!
I'm torn. I'd like a suppressor....but I really don't need one, since most of the ammo I shoot is with cast bullets and suppressors really aren't that cast friendly. A new gun would provide immediate satisfaction.
Shh... don't tell my wife. I have her convinced it's gun money. If she figures out it's our money it's gone.
In my case it's your money. I haven't paid any income taxes in 5 years. No property tax in 6.
That's not supposed to matter to this payment.Considering the IRS thinks I still owe them $ from 2007 I suspect they'll keep it and won't even send a thank you note. For the record I do NOT owe them but am unable to prove it due to a CPA, a nervous breakdown and a fire about which no fucks are given.
I’d like to find gun shows up and running again.
I was kind a thinking the same thing. Either that, or a 5" 460 mag. Maybe even a 480 Ruger. I was looking at a Super Redhawk, though I'm not exactly crazy about it's looks. Either that or a Super Blackhawk Bisley. What were you thinking of?
If you ever get the chance to goto the small arms review show in Phoenix the first weekend in December I highly reccomend it. It's really the last of the big old time gun shows.....kinda. It really takes 2 days to properly get thru and is over flowing with stuff.Unless you go to the larger venues, the small town gun shows are crappy. Junk being sold at new gun prices, old guns that are junk that are priced as valuable antiques, and stupid crap that's not even gun related.
I quit going years ago because they got crappy.
I thought that was how it worked. 20yr note on an RV paid off in 4 years. Same ratio right?

You still have all the extra crap vendors there but you have buildings full of gun stuff along with tents and outside booths. Weather is great in Phoenix the first of December too.
Beware of bubba's who think showers are optional in the winter. About t the e only down side.
The Astro Hall shows were decent. When they moved into the newer NRG Center or what ever it was called when it opened is what killed that show. Vendors bailed as they were no longer allowed outside food & beverage. Once the places figured it out it was to late. One of my favorites years ago was the one in the Astro Hall in Houston in February.
Bought quite a few there over the years.

The internet killed the better gun shows. That & changing demographics.
