If you spent the night in Notrees, you slept in your vehicle.
A handful of horses there. And fewer people.
oldag,
We slept in a 9x19 foot tent, on a friend's place that was just out of "downtown".
About 1800, I started cooking BBQ chicken & the smoke blew into "town". - Pretty soon, we were feeding about half the Notrees population, in addition to the TX Wagon Train folks that I had actually invited. = People started arriving with "covered dishes", freezers of ice cream & coolers full of drinks. One "local" showed up with a BIG stereo & a stack of "2 step" & TX Swing records for dancing.= It turned into "quite a party" that went on until near Dawn.
yours, satx
