If you spent the night in Notrees, you slept in your vehicle.

A handful of horses there. And fewer people.

    oldag,

We slept in a 9x19 foot tent, on a friend's place that was just out of "downtown".

About 1800, I started cooking BBQ chicken & the smoke blew into "town". - Pretty soon, we were feeding about half the Notrees population, in addition to the TX Wagon Train folks that I had actually invited. = People started arriving with "covered dishes", freezers of ice cream & coolers full of drinks. One "local" showed up with a BIG stereo & a stack of "2 step" & TX Swing records for dancing.= It turned into "quite a party" that went on until near Dawn.

    oldag,

During that 6 months of my life I "saw some unusual stuff" that I'll never forget. = Like the "100 plus 'nekkid' women's stampede" that started because of a large RAT in the showers in yet another small West TX town, for example.
(It's a WONDER that somebody wasn't trampled to death in that melee.)

    yours, satx

I'm looking forward to the Youtube videos in a few months featuring candy asses who've never shot before trying out their new big boomers one hand and knocking themselves out. Might run across a smoking deal on another 500 too.

Some how I have the impression that some of you could have a boating accident in the middle of the Sahara!

    Just saying!
    Hold my beer...

Driving down the road in the middle of the Sahara with my trusty boat trailered behind (all firearms on board). Suddenly a large heard of camels bust out from behind a sand dune causing me to slam on my brakes and jack knife the trailer. Boat flips over violently. Firearms and fishin corks flyin everywhere. Bait bucket of loaded mags sailin through the air. All lost to the desert sands...

    It was a sad day.

March blows past record for gun background checks amid coronavirus pandemic

The NICS system ran 3,740,688 background checks in March, which is 33 percent higher than the previous record of more than 2.8 million, which was set in February.

Brady institute blaming NRA and 2A supporters for spreading panic. What a laugh. They need to talk to CNN and MSNBC. Notice the Brady Institute isn't criticizing the liberals now buying guns.

They can blame whomever they like, but do they have evidence of facts? As far as liberals buying guns, I like it. They needed educating.
