That thing is GREAT!! How much do they cost?

I found out today that I am going to have to set up a trust too. To make my dang LLC work I have to change my filings too much.

    An extra $500

Check out MSAR's integral suppressed barrel as an option. I'm not entirely sure about running a suppressor on that rifle without making a change to the gas system, and let's face it - the barrel assembly isn't all that heavy on that thing (compared to a suppressor, anyway) and it's definitely "quick change".

Also, ain't nothing wrong with used gear...

You know that's optional, right? Lots of people make their own trusts with cheap software.

You can do it with software? I thought you had to go to one of those medical supply stores if you needed a trust. Man! Those things can be uncomfortable.

There is no such thing as an NFA trust. That software makes Revocable Living Trusts, which is what you want. I have used it and it works fine.

If you feel uncomfortable doing it yourself then hire a lawyer.

You will assign the NFA item to the trust after your tax stamp comes back. Anything you own can be assigned to the trust though. I'd assign something to it the first time (before you send a copy to BATFE) but you don't have to. Each time you gain a new NFA item you can add it to the trust.

So you send a copy of the trust in with the form 4?

Also how would I add something to it prior to my silencer?

Truth is: I'm pretty happy with my little M&P15. There are only a few minor changes I'm contemplating for it:
    1. Add an ACOG once I'm shooting better than 4MOA.
    2. Change the flash hider for a muzzle brake that directs everything forward.
    3. More ammo
    4. More time at the range.

I'd love to add a good 7.62 rifle that had great accuracy out to 700+meters. Based on feedback I'm leaning toward a big AR, but I'm still researching. I was surprised by the lack of endorsements for the M1A. What I want is a 1MOA or better rifle that would be usable when I need to communicate over long distances.

A trust is simple enough that you should be able to find a lawyer to do it for something more like $50. What he's actually going to do is have a paralegal or secretary pull up a form and fill in the blanks. Trusts ain't rocket science...

Guess I lied about not modding my MP15. Just ordered a Troy Claymore muzzle brake. I'm also go to ambi on everything sense I can shot from either side. And then that is it. I swear. Until I get an ACOG.

Oh and then a 308 rifle. Would love a SCAR-H, but I think a big AR would be more cost effective.
