    Gunz are icky.
Lone Star Handguns range is near Loop 1604 and I-10, east of San Antonio.
Range is < 5 minutes away from the highway intersection.
Range is nice with steel targets. Shooter stations are covered from sun/rain.
One down side is you have to tote your kit a ways(particularly rifles) so don't bring a bunch of gear unless you have wheels on it.
They have a pretty decent on-site gun shop as well.
Sensing wheel gun and semi-auto pistol goodness.

I’m headed to Lone Star Handgun range on Saturday May 16th.
Y’all should turn out. Don’t be afeared.
Mostly handguns but I’ll bring a long gun or two.
Iff’n you want Moonpie to bring something you want to try out just ask.

    Less talking. More shooting!
Dang, Moonpie...I thought you were speaking of Lone Star in Lockhart where you and I met a few years back :( I DO need to get out and shoot!! Some day soon!

    Cool thx.
We have a prize to give away too...
I will make the trip for sure if someone wants to take this "like new" lawn mower off my hands for free?
It doesn't want to start but is only a year old, used it maybe five times if that.
I had the carb replaced and guy at shop told me carb is plastic so they don't like regular gas. It ran fine for a few months and I started it every weekend during winter, now it won't start again and I am done with it (we have another mower so no prob).
I'm not spending the money to put another carb on, they are cheap but the labor hurts.
Since I am not a good mechanic and think I might break something, I would rather give it away to someone who knows how to fix or knows someone who is handy like that.
It was $170 with Briggs 5 hp engine, and yes, it is free, no strings if anyone wants it, I will bring it.
Kind of sad because I had one just like it for fifteen years but I guess they don't make things like they used to.
