Finger off the trigger until you are ready to shoot the firearm. Know what your target is and hit it with every shot. If you are not shooting it, keep it pointed in a safe direction.
That is gun control.
Or do you mean control of who gets what gun, if any and when? That is not gun control but is most definitely government control of the people. Something that has been proven to be an abject failure at reducing not only crime but overall violence in every City, County/ Region or Country that it has been tried. The only thing it does do is somewhat deter an armed resistance to tyrannical governments or those persons or governments that would ignore a Constitution such as ours.
