Local law enforcement has confirmed that there are 2 protests activities planned in The Woodlands for this afternoon and tomorrow. The events are on social media. Organizers are declaring they will be peaceful, but there is potential for traffic congestion.

First one is today, Wed, at 4pm at North Shore Park.
Second is tomorrow, Thurs, June 4, starting at 11am to 6pm at Town Green Park near Market Street.

^^took this from an advisory issued by a local company to their employees.

    Lots of rain today though....

    Thank you.
North shore park is ~1.5 miles, as the crow flies, from my house.

Have fun in the rain, suckers....

I'm tempted to go, just to see what kind of circus turns out. Probably the same dozen people who came and protested when Trump made an appearance. I really should stay away, as these "protesters" piss me off.

The reality is that nearly everybody, regardless of race, agrees that the cop caused that man's needless death (over a stupid fake $20 or a bad check, depending on the source you read), and the other cops are implicated for not stopping him. We really shouldn't be arguing at all.

Houston is bracing for the Tuesday funeral of convicted felon George Floyd in Fort Bend County. Riots and looting are expected. I for one am locked and loaded!!

Didn't see or hear anything out of yesterday's protest.

Market street protest today is 3 miles from my house.

Wifey saw some protestors down my market square, but all was quiet from what I can tell lads. She said there was a large police presence though. Glad nothing violent has gone down around these parts yet. Finger's crossed.
