Forum states I have 161k used and no quota left to upload images.
I've been having to upload them to my own ftp site and link to them instead - some sites don't like this as they have no control over the content (ie I could replace the picture with something different, or remove it, at a later date).
    Anyone help?

Yep, upload limit is tiny. I've pretty much expected to delete whatever I have posted if I want to post anything new. I'm sure I have a lot of posts with no pics anymore.

How did you get to that screen?

I'm stumped since according to the Admin Panel there is no limit, nor do I see the figure 161.1K

If you try to upload more does it give you an error?

Click Manage Attachments and you'll get that screen.

The current file I have uploaded is 21.6kb which shows about 30% of my limit from that same screen.

Ok, when they programmed that bar they have it set to 100Kb it looks like. You can actually continue to attach pictures since we have no limit set.

I'm not sure how to fix that since it is in the actual forum software.

It let me post 209 Kb worth of attachments with my trial account.

Nope, if you try to attach somehting that'll put it over the limit, it won't attach and tells you you're trying to exceed your limit.

There is an Admin control somewhere but I don't know anything about the back end to know where.

If I try to attach anything else it just says I've exceeded my quota.
Here I tried to attach a file:

The quota is set to "0" which on vBulletin is unlimited. It's always been like that.

Something is not updating. Either the forum cache isn't work right, or the bitfields need to be rebuilt.

Whatever is going on has been happening since I joined in May. That is why I've been using photobucket to host my images. I was able to upload one picture and my quota was full and couldn't upload any others. I know this isn't very helpful to you Alan, but perhaps it will help with a timeline.

OK, a better solution, and a short term fix while I fix the other one, would be to utilize the forum's album ability.

USER CP --> Albums (Under Networking on the Left NavBar)

Once you start the album, and begin uploading the pictures, it will give you both the BB Code (for threads) and a URL to the picture itself.
