Baby Pronstar on the way

We’re high-risk so wanted to wait until the second trimester. Wife is pregnant with our first kid. He’s due around Valentines Day.

It’s exciting and terrifying...I’ll be 50 in January (Mrs Pronstar is younger than me). So I’ll be that “I’m his father not grandfather” guy.

Apparently he didn’t take after my Asian genes, based on the third leg that was evident in our second ultrasound

That is some awesome news. With all the doom and gloom being reported, it's refreshing to hear a nice simple and happy story.

Funny you say that...I’m not a fan of where this country appears to be heading, and it’s been on my mind quite a bit.

Public schools are already out of contention.
Private or homeschool is on the agenda. All we can do is raise him as best we can.

Never considered having a kid when we lived in CA. Hopefully this state doesn’t become a similar dumpster fire.

A high school buddies Dad was in his 80's and still worked at being a barber while slying slugging down a quart of Old Taylor each and every day.

On a serious note.

I remember both times my brother became a father, and being there to share those moments with him when he first got to hold them in the hospital. The look on his face, was such happiness I have ever seen in a man's eyes. He was so very proud to be a father, and both my nieces have turned out to be fine young ladies, and he has every reason to be very proud. He became a very awesome father to those girls.

Pronstar, this is a huge moment your your life. I think you are going to be a great father.
