Crikey this has turned into an old guy rant about stomach problems. Lets change it to arthritis or hip bone degeneration jsut to move the needle. (sarcasm font)

I got degenerative disc disease in my back and neck. I can tell you when the weather is going change!

And arthritis? I have lived with that for over fifty years! I sound like a breakfast cereal when I crawl out of bed in the morning!

i was going to say something along the same lines, but being new, did not want to

have never had heartburn in my life but it sounds just terrible

    Yep.
I lived over 40 years with no issue.
Started on meds and there ya go.

Used to eat jalapenos by the handful.
Now I can't even think about eating anything spicy.

Heartburn is bad. Acid reflux is way worse. There are times it can feel just as bad as a heart attack. And yes, I have had two minor heart attacks.

I've been taking Prilosec by prescription daily and Pepcid AC as needed for a while now. The Pepcid is definitely strong enough to offset the really bad days. Zantac was my go to before getting pulled off the shelf.
