I had Medicare complete (United Healthcare) for years. Worked well for me and wife. I just switched to a United Healthcare PPO for next year. It's supposed to be better with less money out of pocket. We'll see.

For Part 'D', I used a company called, 'Philadelphia American'. I don't have Part 'C'. When my wife's open enrollment takes place, I'll see if I can jump on her Dental Plan for a reasonable cost.
Medicare dental plans are garbage. They have minimal coverage and are almost only accepted by low tier practice with doctors who recently graduated & have high turnover rates. Whatever the premium is, set that aside as your own dental self-insurance plan and use it. Then shop for deals.

That's pretty much what my dentist told me. I've been going to him for roughly thirty years and haven't seen him for a couple years, now. They told me the best option was to get on my wife's work {group} insurance plan. So, like I said, when her open enrollment period rolls around, I'll most likely be making the jump to it, for dental coverage.

To be clear, 'Philadelphia American' provides so-called Medicare "Gap insurance". Basically, a secondary insurance which covers deductibles and 'patient portion' expenses. The Part 'D' prescription drug coverage is handled by Aetna/SilverScript. Sorry if my earlier posting was confusing.

I have Medicare part A and B with Blue Cross/Blue Shield for prescription and supplemental.

Over the past few years, I've had 1 back surgery, 3 on my face, 2 complete stress testing and 1 colostomy (won't do that one again) and lots of prescriptions.

What Medicare doesn't pay, BC/BS pays. My only out of pocket expense is for my prescriptions which amounts to around $75.00 per year.

I know/have known a lot of people get their dentures in Mexico for a fraction of the cost. If memory serves, there are bus trips for them. The people go to the denture shop for measuring and fitting. Then shopping and lunch before going back for final adjustments and take them home.

    Mexico is an option.

You can get a set of dentures here for a hair under $500 if you shop around. They may not fit the best but many times they're just fine.

There is a place like that on the east side of Tyler. Be there at 8. Wait your turn, xrays etc. Be back at 1PM for fitting and go home with them. When got mine they were $750. But that was 10 years ago and they're still fine.

I've seen many of these immediate dentures 1st hand. I've replaced many of these dentures 1st hand. No Bueno.
