Except for the belt not fitting the holster. That’s a rookie mistake.

A gun belt has to fit your belt loops and your holster has to fit your belt.

I’m not your bud and I’m not passive aggressive. I also don’t give a rat’s ass if you don’t care about the truth.

Maybe you are just having a bad day... but going around the internet with a hair-trigger and advertising that you are a deputy sheriff, might be the best light to present LEOs.

Most of the folks here are good guys, but you just gave them another example of a hot headed, ass-hole cop and they will be that little less likely to stand up for us when we stand up for them. Be your brother's keeper and make my job easier, not harder.

I’m retired, I don’t carry a badge anymore. I don’t take kindly to be called “bud” or “passive aggressive”. I also won’t apologize for being blunt. It is what it is.

Fair enough point on the belt loop, but at the moment it’s better than leaving it home and I’m not in a position to shop for a better holster at the moment.

I’m also probably not fast enough for it to significantly matter, but I do practice some...

The holster looked to be of good quality to me. I’m usually able to find some decent belts cheaper than a good holster. Check out Galco or Bianchi. Don’t be afraid to check eBay too.

That’s a moot point for my budget at the moment and the church pants belt loops, too, and I’m not good enough for it to shave off 1/2 second from my draw, but I can still get it on target in approx 2 sec, I believe.

It’s not just about speed. It’s about positioning of your gear and a stable platform. Speed is not the be all to end all. Timing trumps speed and precision beats power.

I’m sure you’re a better shooter than Lucas at Trex arms, and others who’s videos I try to glean from, but sometimes you work with what you have and practice and make do. I’d love to drive a Rolls Royce, too, but budget priorities don’t always allow for perfection.

What are you doing to improve and promote the gun community’s image culturally?

I agree here Jon. Stable gear is an asset in itself.

Speed kills. Good, stable positioning of you holster which is important for repeatability of your draw which builds muscle memory, which builds speed. If we need a reminder about winning speed and losing speed watch the draw of one of the men who acted in the FW church shooting. Sadly a slow draw and presentation got him killed.

A belt that fit that holster would keep it in place better, leading to less fidgeting etc.

I wonder if biden is an approved president by those who actually pay for government as opposed to those who eat from it. People dont like it but i have serious issue that the welfare mom with 5 kids by 5 men who is the third generation ( grandma and mom) in poverty, lives in the projects, eats on wic and food stamps, gets teh exact same say at the table as I do when we decide how to cut up the money. Many people in that situation better themselves. There is nothing wrong with being down on your luck but there is with considering it a way of life.

How about we go back to the "Jim Crow" laws for deciding who can vote? Or how about a poll tax? Or only those who own land are entitled to vote?

Or please tell us how YOU would decide who gets to vote, and who doesn't. I'm really curious to see your answer to this.

If you receive direct payment from the government for anything other than compensation for work, you can't vote.
