Anyone who can program in machine language would know that it is impossible to create a SECURE logic program or to verify a program as secure IF it is connected to the internet.

Writing voting software is really very simple. Not a hard program to write and very easy to verify what it is doing at any time during or after the process.
Adding in features, like the ones that let weight a vote, are there exclusively to let one side or the other to cheat.
Putting your vote in one computer that then prints out a barcode list without names printed with it, and does not save the original input, and then gets read and tabulated by another instead of he original computer just adds unverifiable layers and ways to cheat.
There are very simple solutions, and can be done without internet connection. Just a local network.
And with easily verifiable code. And no added features.

Put simply, if 10 people voted, there's 10 results. We only need to be able to verify the total count, and that each was recorded as cast. Nothing more. Nearly any programmer who has been in the business a few years could write such a system.
