My new 6940. Not looking forward to spending $50+ to sight it in with today's ammo prices. Between the red dot, iron sights, and lasers it will cost a fortune.

I have a small suggestion for you.
Sand bag your gun and shoot a target from 20’.
Without moving the gun at all, adjust the sights to 2” or so above the bullet hole.
Back up to 25 yards and repeat the process. Sandbag the gun, shoot the target and adjust the sights to the bullet hole.
Back up to 50 or 100 yards repeat the process again and you should be very close.
To add a laser to your gun go to the appropriate distance, shoot and dial the laser into the bullet hole.
Four or five shots shouldn’t break the bank.

Almost bought a Heritage Rough Rider at Academy Sports today but fought off the urge. I most certainly do not need another revolver in 22 LR. Had it been in 22 WMR, at a similar sale price percentage wise for a 22 MAG, I would have been sunk.
