    Not where you are
    Nice
I also am attracted to gen 3 SW SA pistols.
    So far I have two
    4516-2
    4006

Enjoy both and good solid shooters.

The -2 is a metal clone to my shield 45. Amazing how close in size and feel they are.

Lost in East Texas Elhart Texas
I have owned a few of the 2nd Generation SA pistols. Excellent pistols. Triggers are pretty decent for a factory pistol as well. And they are decently accurate. Seems the great deals did dry up some years ago on them though.

    To ALL,

Personally, I would like to find another "plain Jane" S&W Model 639 to replace the one that was DESTROYED when my 1986 MB 420SEL burned-up in a garage fire.
(My MB burned down to the tires last Summer, along with the other 5 cars that were in the mechanic's garage.)

    yours, satx

still looking for a 1006 to complete the set

    Grumps21,

    NICE collection, IMO.

Personally, I would happily settle for buying a pair of 2nd/3rd generation S&W pistols.
(A compact 9mm single-stack for my sister of the heart & one full-size in .40S&W for me to EDC.)
Note: "The current plan" is to spend about 6 months a year in our place on the southern coast of Portugal & the other half on the farm in the Hill Country.
(,45 ACP & 9x19mm are ILLEGAL for civilians to possess in Portugal but .357 SIG, 9x23 mm, & .40 S&W are perfectly acceptable to carry concealed. - OC is strictly FORBIDDEN off of your own property.)

    yours, satx
