If I remember correctly, this image was originally created to show how the human body would need to evolve to in order to be safe when riding a motorcycle. Thicker skull and neck to protect the brain and spinal cord along with addition ribs and tissue padding to protect the vital organs. I was lucky to ride for over 20 years without an incident. Gave it up because of all the distracted drivers.

Funny, but how would you be safer of you can't look over your shoulder?

Ever seen a rear view mirror???

Be hell keeping a helmet on that head, I guess the strap goes thru your crotch. Or under your arms.
Well yeah, but you gotta look over your shoulder.

When I took a riding course to get my M license I remember having to do a sharp u turn. You practically have to look behind your bike to manage the turn and not kill any cones.

Newcomer. When they came out with that law about the "M" restriction I walked into the local DPS office, told the trooper I needed it. He said let me see your license, took it, and directed me to the coffee machine outside his office. When he returned he handed me my license. I asked what my score was and it was 98, he wouldn't give me a 100.

I hung up my chaps in Oct after ~63 years of riding.

That's how I got my "M" also - only in my case the patrolman also drank beer with me when we were off duty. I hung up my chaps 3/14 after only 42 years of riding.

While living in Switzerland I decided to buy a motorcycle and needed to get a license. I had bought a Honda 250 Nighthawk and with only one rider it was sufficient. I go for the test and one of the problems was to start on a hill with 2 up. At that time I weighed 225 and the guy giving me the test outweighed me. The hill was a nice 10% grade. The bike barely made it up. The tester suggested I might want to get a few more HP. About a year later I took his advice and got this R90s. My ex and I rode all over the Alps.
