Back in November, Deadair Silencers hosted a contest here in Texas. It was basically a scavenger hunt/Cannonball run, starting in Ft Worth, stopping at several gun shops until ending up at a large ranch down in the hill country.

Did anyone here at TGT participate?

here is the teaser video for the contest.

Initially, there were 20 teams signed up. The registration was sold out in a few hours. So, a week or so later, they opened it back up for 5 more teams.

The grand prize was the case in the video, with the custom foam, A Daniel Defense PDW, and six cans from Deadair, with the stamps paid for.

I got the email from Deadair a couple days after I retired. Happened to be on my phone when it came in. Asked the wife if she wanted to go on a scavenger hunt in Texas, she was like, sounds fun. Just like that, we were signed up....

if you’ve seen the movie, the good the bad and the ugly, the final scene is a large cemetery set up in a circle. That’s how this ended as well. Ten graves in the middle of a field, first ten teams to show up at the final destination got to pick a grave to dig up.
