Probably go with my Charter Arms AR7 .22LR. Has never failed me. Packs small. Can carry a ton of ammo. Not my favorite gun but if only one...

That is the reason I ask about ammo. I have several 22lr, that when I do my part, will shoot moa at 100 yards. And I can carry a lot more ammo than any centerfire I have.

LWRC M6a2 or variant, will eat anything, stays lots cleaner than a di gun, heavier but worth it for reliability. Flip ups way better than good irons(old eyes, can’t begin ti use go sights, i can still use Lwrc/Troy/hk style, optic is better clearly
