My understanding is that several of the Scandinavian countries that are supposedly European style socialist have free market economies but socialist support programs. So they are not really socialist.

Too bad Venezuela hasn't been able to dig itself out. Much like Cuba.

Even China had to embrace a Capitalist production/sales economy.

The Scandinavian countries are also mostly homogenous and have tiny populations. Its much easier to pitch social support programs when you are ethnically and culturally the same as your neighbor. You can see the stress of these socialist programs in Sweden (and Germany) with all of the muslims and africans that have been dumped off there who are not participating in the system at all (sound familiar?)

The intent of my posting that article was not to show socialism doesn't work. Everybody already agrees to that. The purpose was to show the road map. To remind what the cycle looks like. How it beings. The original euphoric praises and the betterment of all. Then the slow, painful, downward spiral as the socialist government runs out of other peoples money and the entire house of cards collapses.

I pay for his clothes (leash and harness)

*I think his obedience school diploma must be in philosophy because his obedience training doesn't work.

So they are settling for $1k/mo instead of the $2k Basic Income they want to establish. Oh, that's a stepping stone for sure!

And once they get the Basic Income and the majority of "residents" don't work, then they have lifetime Dimocrap voters!!!

Denmark and Norway are less forgiving in their policies. I believe Denmark has also removed alot of refugees or sent them to Germany. One thing to note about them is they have taken in a far lower number than other countries nearby. Finland has far less refugees and the Finns are far less likely to be friendly to people who dont pull their own weight. Baltic states and Finland have a strong ethnic identity (I am guessing from surviving communism) so they really dont fall for the whole "hate yourself if you are white and destroy your entire country" type policies

I have family in Germany still and they hate refugees, islam and people from cities lol. Its not so bad where they live but pretty much any city in Germany is a no go zone due to cultural enrichment & a heaping dose of white guilt from WW2.
