That HAD to be a bore obstruction.
See that small bulge a few inches back from the muzzle? Squib round probably but who knows.
Retards have been known to leave bore sighter mandrels in the barrel.
Bubba didn’t notice it. Fired another round.

Is that a shotgun wadding cup and choke tube on the table in front of it?

    Gunz are icky.
Thanks for the push Moonpie, just scheduled Saturday range time testing new loads with my boys. Prime brisket on the smoker, good bourbon for dessert. Gonna be a good time!

    Morning!

Can someone tell me what a Calcium Facility is? Neighbor text my wife yesterday worried about another neighbor putting a Calcium Facility in on his property. Wife asked me what it was.... heck I don't know what it is. Googled it... no luck. Neighbor was worried about traffic and air quality. Any insight???

Just a SWAG, but not unheard of to mine for limestone and dolomite in Texas, which are readily available sources of magnesium/calcium.

An O&G Mineral lease can sure cover that type of mining/extraction.

Thank you sir. I figured it couldn't be anything too wild. She made it sound like it was going to be environmentally dirty. Sounds no different than just another caliche pit.

The standard Producer's 88 O&G Mineral Lease used in Texas allows mining of minerals, as well as use of the surface to operate and build infrastructure necessary to production.

    That last parts the kicker.

The mineral estate in Texas, basically being dominant over the surface estate, lets a producer do pretty much whatever is necessary with your surface to produce under the terms of the lease, including establishing infrastructure to extract..

That could well be what your neighbor is referring to??

Must be. But, I don't foresee much infrastructure needed to mine those minerals. I guess time will tell on the size of the operation.

In all fairness... I see her concern. The pad is 1,000yrds from their house and insight. So if there are a bunch of trucks, motors and lights going 24/7, it might bother me as well.

On the other hand, the pad is 2.5mi from our house and outta sight. I'm not too concerned about it. Unless they omit a lot of light pollution and mess up my telescope views. Then, bulbs can get expensive:evil:
