Its going to get worse. If that's even imaginable.

I concur, I am not sitting on my hands and have still maintained purchase of a case of something a month; even at the higher than ever expense. If it goes down GREAT. If it continues to go up people will be kicking themselves for not taking action.

I wish I made what y'all make. At 80 cpr for 9mm and 1 dpr for 223 I can't afford to buy ANY ammunition at these prices. I'm sitting on what I have.

What price are you willing to pay? I ask because if the prices isn't pre panic but just not the .80/$1 range, perhaps I could help. But know that, I would fully understand if you said that even the lowest current pricing is too much.

Trust me at the prices I'd be willing to pay we're going to waiting a while. I would NEVE rpay more than 30cpr for 9mm under ANY circumstances. I have enough for a without rule of law situation to get where I need to be. 223 I'm not paying more than pre covid prices for that. So no worries there. I can wait. I have thousands of each.

I hear you, but I’m also prepared for ammo to never return to the pre COVID pricing. That is a possibility every shooter should contemplate. Eventually, even those of us with tens of thousands of cartridges will need to restock.

I'm moving to reloading, so it will be supply prices. I get inflation happens as well as supply and demand. I love shooting, but im content on shooting 20 rounds a year to make sure sights are still true and saving the rest for a bad day.

Pretty much what I figured, but thought I would ask.

Considering the current prices for components, it's really hard to reload for pre-rona pricing of ammo.

It’s very entertaining to watch Fudd these days. He’s really freaked out.

Muh turdy-turdy ain’t got no ammos. WTF am ah gon dew?!?!?!?
Them damn russians is a’doin’ this shit to Wal-Mart!
They were lined up at my local Academy this morning before opening time. I sat in my car and 1 minute after they opened the Fudds were headed back out empty handed and looking quite pissed off. I went inside and got some camo clothes for next season at 50% off.

It’s the same here at the local Academy.
6am and Fudds are already camped out.

I went to mine.... bunch of empty .22LR CCI boxes. 1 box of 12 ga. something or other and a couple of boxes of 28 ga. something or other was what was left after the locust had departed.

Not everybody there is a fudd.

Got a guy in my crew who is younger and just hasn’t been too much in to find for long, and wasn’t following politics until the last couple years. We met for work early and stood in line so he could try to get something.

I’m not much of a fudd, he doesn’t even own a 1911 or rifle with a wood stock. He’s just learning the hard way what it will take for him to put any ammo back at this point; unless he wasn’t to support the jackasses that will hit every store in town on delivery day so they can do you the favor of selling it to you online at a 300% markup.

My main issue was health related. Got to where I could hardly walk and couldn't go to the range any more. Let my AR's, 1911's, and my rifle & .45 ammo go a while back. I switched to 9mm for reduced recoil. Was down to just my carry gun (a Kahr PM9 that I finally had to let go due to health reasons, no longer able to rack the slide) and until I got my motorized wheel chair I was unable to even go the the range (haven't been in years until recently). After selling my PM9 I picked up a Taurus 605 SS .357 Snubbie as a new carry gun. BOY DID I MAKE A MISTAKE! I can't hardly find 38 Special for love or money. Got so desperate for ammo, I bought a Lee Loader for 38 Special. I have been able to find bullets, brass, and some powder, but primers are hard to find (I have about 600 right now so I should be able to reload some to practice and get proficient with the .357). So while I don't qualify as a Fudd, I have been out of the game for a few years.

On a positive note, I picked up a GiRSAN M1911C in 9mm so I could shoot some of my 9mm stockpile and getting the motorized wheelchair has given me a new lease on life and I love being able to go to the range again. Man I sure missed owning a 1911.

Went by Wallymart the other day just to see whats going on over there ammo wise.
They had, maybe, six or seven boxes total, of high $ non-toxic 12ga locked in the ammo case.
    That was it.
    Holy jeebuss.
The one I go to each week hasn't had anything by 12ga for months. I did get lucky about 2 months ago and they were opening a box that had 2 1000 round boxes of .22lr. I asked if I could get both and they rang me up. I was a happy camper. Kept one, gave the other away to a friend who had none.
