So I've been told. And the dirt blows in the spring on the LLano.

I am worried about much of my shrubs and some trees.Hope The Big Chill doesn't happen, cold blast killed some of my plants, and EP wasn't near as bad as other parts of TX.
Solar minimums and maximums have basically zero effect on our weather and climate.

So your saying 5-6 years of elevated temperatures have zero effect on temperature of the ocean? What circus do you work for?

Ha, we planted a mimosa last summer. Doubting that it will bounce back, but hopeful.Don't know if young red oak or mimosa will survive.
But how elevated? And will the effect truly be material? So your saying 5-6 years of elevated temperatures have zero effect on temperature of the ocean? What circus do you work for?

Wouldn't that be nice?If the prickly pear and fire ants die, I'll consider the other losses negligible.
I'm no environmentalist whacko, but coal plants are not exactly great. Natural gas and nuclear are much cleaner than coal. And I mean "cleaner" as in "not dumping tons of radioactive smoke into the air we breathe".Let's get those old coal fired power plants going...
Yeah, I'm annoyed about that. I bet we'll have plenty of mosquitos too.Wouldn't that be nice?
Our fire ants seem to have "weathered" just fine. Vicious little b*st*rds.

Prickly Pear? Where will the snakes hide then?If the prickly pear and fire ants die, I'll consider the other losses negligible.
Agreed, but Natty Gas didn't come thru in the clutch for most of TX.I'm no environmentalist whacko, but coal plants are not exactly great. Natural gas and nuclear are much cleaner than coal. And I mean "cleaner" as in "not dumping tons of radioactive smoke into the air we breathe".
