Sorted 1000 mixed 9mm hollow point bullets. Paid $0.10 each in 115 & 124. They are pulls but not in bad shape for the price.

Ordered 250 9mm 124 grain jacketed hollow points from Everglades ammo. I’m not big on reloading carry ammo, but the critical defense I like to carry is hard to find, and I don’t like to have carry ammo I can’t shoot outta my gun every once in a while.

I'm waiting for an improved primer catcher for a rock chucker so I can deprime some 308s that I got in trade.

Which one are you getting?

I won a catcher from Loadertools.com and it is night and day from the factory set up. I love it.

I don't prime on the press so that part wasn't an issue.

Mine looks the same but it came from Inline Fabrication. I tried to order one from Ebay but they were out and then found Inline and ordered from them. My press is an original Rock Chucker I got in the early 80s. Got it used at a gun show for $30.00

There is an ebb and flow to these things. Buy what you can now, don't over spend. You will have what you NEED sooner than you think, then you will buy more.

I have just a little knowledge of reloading and I have no equipment at the moment. I am interested in reloading 5.56x45MM, .40 S&W, 9MM, .380 ACP, and .32 ACP.

Unless you have small hands you might rethink loading for the 32 It became too big a pain for me to reload. That stuff is really small.

Forgot to mention that it is incredibly difficult to find bullets to reload.
Even casting bullets light enough for this caliber is extremely difficult and requires custom molds.

I did a chamber cast, and

I use a case gauge on all of my ammo and I use an ammo checker on most of it. I am lazy though and don't want to use a caliper on every round. Of course this is for Sammi spec not for best loads for a single rifle. If the glove fits, etc.

I did a chamber cast on my rifle, and it measures in spec using a caliper and a micrometer. I took it to work where we have some measuring microscopes. Using that, it measured just at bare minimum. Either way, it is in spec.
I took y'all's advice and have a headspace gauge on the way. I figured it's a good investment.

I have a different take on .32. It's so expensive that I wouldn't shoot much of it if I didn't reload for it. That said, I have only 4 or 5 firearms in .32 and I don't shoot them much so I haven't reloaded for it in quite a while. Still, if I fell in love with a .32 and wanted to shoot it a lot, I'd certainly reload for it, large hands and supply difficulties be damned.

ETA: Same goes for .25 ACP, if I owned one. I know it's a pain to reload but it's always been too expensive to shoot unless you do. IMO, of course.

Anyone used the new style lee bullet sizer dies? Just ordered one for my.AK bullets. Just wondering if there's anything different you have to do.

I do load .32 acp but only new brass. I don't load .25 acp and for sure I am not going to bend over to pick up .32 or .25 shells. Too old to do that.

Did they change them. Ive been using the ones for .358, .356 and .452 and they work well. I have a Lyman bullet sizer lubricator but now I only use it to seat gas checks.

Yes. I think you can still get the old ones. They list them on their page at least. The new one needs an adaptor to use I guess.
