U.S. to have more Muslims than Kuwait by 2030

The Muslim population in the U.S. will more than double to 6.2million in the next 20 years, it has been claimed.

Immigration and high birth rates could see the number of Muslims rise to 1.7 per cent of the total population by 2030 - roughly the same number of Jewish people in the U.S.

And the forecasts will mean the U.S. will have more Muslims than Kuwait.

You exaggerate risks of Muslims out to kill you or anyone else due to their religious beliefs and how different that is from domestic terrorism and violence that has a much grater personal risk.

Sharia law is probably one of the contributing factors why people hate the Muslim community so much. I for one wont accept it even if it doesnt affect me. It would simply be a disgrace to our country.
The reference to all brown people being muslim, well that doesnt apply to me either. I have actually know people from the middle east who were christian. Great people I might add. Can say I have ever known any muslims though. The only muslims I have ever been around didnt like me! I didnt do anything to them either, so WTF?
The real issue here is the negative image the Muslim people have gained from all over the world. I didnt lend a hand in portraying that image either.
Could muslims live in this country and be accepted? Could they function and Americans and live by American laws? Further more, could muslims be productive in our sociaty?
I think a lot of them have already done that! Doctors, Store owner, and a lot of motels owners are Muslim. If we really want to think about it, we havent had any negative issue with the majority of them either.
Lets compair culture differences. One time while I was in Louisiana, me and a buddy went to a waffle house late one night after running the bars. Several black dudes were in there. My buddy, being from that area, didnt want to go in there. I said dont be a chicken shit and we went in. We sat down at the bar portion of the place and ordered some food. There was a little black guy sitting next to me just looking. I said " hey". He was looking at me like I was some kind of freek! The conversation was anything to be proud of because those idiots simply didnt like me because I was white. They all got a confused look on their faces as I started laughing. The big one asked " What are you laughing at". I said I just realized what its like to be discriminated against and thought it was funny that the people who cry discrimination are doing that exact thing to me.
Those guy's had no idea how to take me, and I made it real clear to them that I dont put up with that shit no matter what side of the fence it comes from. BTW, I noticed two of them had panther tatoo's.

Well of all people you should know. You have spent time living in their part of the world. The only issue I have with muslims living in this country is they need to live as if they want to be a part of this country.
It's no different than Mexicans crossing the border and acting like their still in Mexico. I hate that shit! If you want to be American, then act like it!
Being Patriotic is the only way to be an American.
Honestly I see nothing different between a Radical Muslim than I would see in a Mexican holding a Mexican Flag while burning the American flag.

I enjoyed going to shisha (hookah) bars while I was in Baghdad and they were usually full of American servicemembers and civilian contractors. When I got back to the states and I was back visiting family on leave my friends and I went out to a shisha bar in the D.C. Northern Virginia area. The D.C. area shisha bar was full of hadjis and they were blasting Arabic music (very) loudly and I was a little weirded out at first because everyone was singing along with all of the lyrics in Arabic and whatnot but I didn't care too much because my shisha and my food was fantastic, so I just went with it. A few hours later they started playing some hip hop and R&B music and all of the hadjis started singing right along with Usher and T.I. too. In English. So I'd say they're adapting just fine to western culture and bringing some fun aspects of middle eastern culture along with them to add to the melting pot. Hookah bars are the shit.
