Welp, both LEOs showing up for public testimony are on the record against HR1927. Tally for LE/LE orgs is 3 against and 1 neutral assuming all amendments and more are attached.

LE/LE Orgs along with Lucio painted the picture that the average citizen is both a criminal and a threat to LE. Think about that for a minute and decide for yourselves whether or not that’s the mindset you want your elected officials and those who carry out their executive agency to have.

I’m pretty disgusted at what I’ve seen from that corner of the bench today.

The Sherri’s Association guy (Larry Smith out of Longview) is the neutral org. While his comments were supportive he was very clear the org’s view was neutral assuming the current six amendments and more were adopted.

Agree, but I think some of that is due to a general inclination for those types of people to be more involved politically than the average person, hence the term activist, which I think applies to all the public speakers in that they are all somewhere along the spectrum of political activist. Those against 2A in general tend to be more activist than those truly pro-2A.
