I've been done with the masks for months now except of course medical visits. Usually need to go and they aren't letting you in without one.

Most places I wear it in the door then take it off. The greeter has a bad enough job without my hassle.

Currently up North and it's just as bad here now as it was in Texas at the peak. Best you'll see here is a few people with them pulled down. Masks everywhere.

Lady told a kid that works with me that he needed a mask. He said no I don't I'm an American.

Live in the Dallas burbs which has fallen for the commie mandates. In Fredericksburg this week to help my MIL move to a new house. You wouldn’t know anything was going on here except for the city folks looking out of place.

    Here’s something to ponder.

I recently saw a meme about COVID, and people were wearing the masks outside in a Dem run city.
But in this meme, they also showed homeless people sitting and watching the idjits with masks walk by, looking at the sheeple like they were crazy.
The bottom message said,”If COVID is as infectious as they say it is, then why aren’t the tent cities and homeless everywhere dying from it?”
You know what, that’s a valid point!! Why aren’t the homeless piling up in stacks of bodies?

Just something that makes you go Hmmmmm?!?

My supervisor is 535lbs. In shitty health, always sick, you know the type.
When covid became a " really threat " we had a company meeting on the fact it was highly likly he would get covid and die. We discussed how to protect him and make sure we could fill the void. Well, the stubborn foul cought on, called covid a hoax from the get go. Thumped his nose at all the rules.

The craziest thing happened. the worlds most deadliest pandemic skipped him, hell he didnt even get the flu, But covid but me on my butt for 5 days. What in the actual **** !!!!!

    True story

I'm not defending the overall nonsense of wearing a mask, just offering an opinion.

I wonder if from their lifestyles of living in such an environment builds up a certain immunity? Frankly I have not a clue.

But, I do question the dangers of CV19 for exactly the same reasons of that meme.

The wife and I made out weekly trip to town to Tractor Supply for dog food, stopped off a Dollar General close by, then decided to go to our favorite Chinese Buffet restaurant for dinner.

Here are my observations of yesterday evening.

No signs outside of TSC requiring the wearing of a mask. The only indication was the small stand close to the entry, with a large container of hand sanitizer and wipes. Very, very few people wearing masks, and even the majority of the employees were not wearing masks.

Dollar General. Again, all signs requiring the wearing of masks are gone. Store employees wearing, but not wearing their masks. Most of the few customers I saw wearing a mask, were elderly.

Chinese restaurant. All signs gone requiring the wearing of mask. None of the employees were wearing a mask. the disposable gloves at the buffet were also gone. (they did have a big box of disposable gloves for you to use each and every time you went to the buffet table to get another plate of food.)

Maybe it's time to get back to normal, and I sure see such things as sign of people are growing tired of the nonsense and false hysteria.
