We paid $5,000 cash to have ours installed. They didn't do a very good job, but we're 6yrs into it and it hasn't gave us fits. Just pumped it for the first time last year. That was county and no permits.

The toilet is a cheap, get you in, fix. You could always stub for a septic and come back at a later date if need be.
Yeah, we are going to talk to the septic guy in our area. See if maybe we can do some stuff to help with cost as well. I'll get out there and dig the hole if I have too. :) I don't mind getting my hands dirty if it will save us more money. Someone quoted us close to 10,000 dollars, others have been a little cheaper. I'm hoping the small town country guy will work with us some. We will see though....

Another option, if you were up for the task, would be to have the tanks commercially set, and you can finish out the rest of the septic system. Don’t know if that is in your abilities, but it might be a much cheaper option, only if you do it correctly.
I will have to look into that, I'm pretty sure my husband or someone he knows probably can. Thank you!! :)

A friend of mine had a septic put in down near Mabank, and I think he said he used somebody from up near Greenville to do it. If you want, I'll try sending out a few texts for ya. Lemme know
