My mothers next-door neighbor cut this on her ring doorbell camera. Multiple neighbors saw this cat also at around 11 o’clock in the morning walking down the sidewalk in the cul-de-sac.

This is a densely populated subdivision. Kids play in the street and ride their bikes all the time.

I know everything is bigger in Texas, but this cat is a lot bigger than the bobcats that I was familiar with in Tennessee

I've seen many over the years living in North Texas but they were definitely smaller. I've seen a few sitting next to rural highways waiting for traffic to subside so they can make a run. Never seen any aggressive ones but I'm sure they'd like a cat or small dog just like a Coyote.

That's smaller than the couple I've seen round here. Biggest Bobcats I've seen in my life in my neighborhood.

We live right by lake lewisville and have lots of critters like that. Oddly very few cats or little tipping dogs though. Hmmmmmm

My parents live in Denton, They had a big bobcat picking off little dogs in the neighborhood, it got so bad at one point that they were putting out warnings about leaving your pets outside. One of the neighbors dogs got ate....

That happens in mine too. Cats, small dogs on the loose, just disappear. Here, there are also coyotes that run in the drainage system that pop up and snatch critters. My little pomeranian refused to walk near those drainage spots. Pretty funny.

I saw the title of this string earlier but didn’t open it because I thought we were going to be talking about dirt work. Who gives a flip about a short front loader moving dirt? This was actually interesting. I didn’t realize the cats were that big. I’ve never seen one personally.
