I find this whole post very racist and I am offended.I'm doing some modeling around the property, and I'm doing one of my least favorite things - painting.
I carry a G26 in a Fobus paddle holster and I got a pretty good amount of paint on the grip at some point. I got a lot of paint on me, too, but did manage to get a bit on the walls and the ceiling. It's the good stuff - Sherwin Williams Duration Acrylic Latex!
I obviously don't want to open- carry a black Glock with white paint splotches all over the handle the grip! That would make me look like I lived out in the woods, or something!
Do I:
1. Use acetone or paint thinner to remove it?
2. Fieldstrip and put the frame in a bucket of water overnight to loosen the paint?
3. Add more paint in different colors to give it an "urban camo" look?
4. Just throw it away and buy a Tisa 1911?
Thanks in advance for the help!

You, sir, are obviously demented. We would, most likely, get along well!Just leave the paint on there and OC, especially if you plan to visit Austin. You'll be sure to find others who are interested in Glocks and latex....
For some reason, I always think of him as GlockPie...Paint over it. Pink would work for you.

It came right off with a little hand lotion and a couple of minutes of rubbing.
I entirely agree. Ol rat here should be slapped and have his airbrush and painting privilege taken away. Its ruined. You can send it to me for demilling and disposal. I'll give you $30 for it for your time Can't have a paint splotched Glock now!
Please don't ever post something like this again. IF my wife sees it. she would want one.I entirely agree. Ol rat here should be slapped and have his airbrush and painting privilege taken away.
All the Frakin Earl Scheibs went from cheap car painting to sins of abomination by molesting Glocks.
