Is anyone going to see F1? I purchased tickets to see F1 in October at CoTA! I want to see MotoGP, but I'm not seeing where to buy tickets. The Austin Ducati guys said the team will stop into the dealer the Friday before the races to chat and give autographs. I'm wondering if we will have a chance to see Quartararo and Rossi at a Yamaha facility, or Marquez at a Honda facility?

I think it'll just be the Ducati guys. I haven't heard of the other dealer bringing anyone into the shop before the races. The Ducati guys have been more involved in the race than the Honda/Yama dealer. Ducati is local owned. The other is part of the ridenow chain of dealers.

If you're interested there is a Texas motorcycle forum too. https://www.twtex.com/forums/

Ducati historically does a big deal in Austin, nobody else does. I went for the first one back in 2010, I think. More details will appear on Ducati’s events page, sample below.

Ouch, $99 for the cheapest ticket? Yup, CotA went batshit crazy, just like I suspected.
When we went to the first MotoGP there years ago, I think the bleachers were $30. We were willing to pay that.
I wonder whether they will manage to fill the stands for $100/pop.

The cheapest NASCAR tickets were $100. Where are you seeing MotoGP tickets for sale? I can’t find them

I haven't laughed in years like I laughed at that Quartararo golf swing after Assen....that was hilarious! The parity in MotoGP this year is crazy....I hope to go but just not sure yet. And like Coop45 says might be one of last time to see The Doctor in any true form.

Those are old prices, the 2021 season is still underway and tix haven’t been released for the October session at COTA yet.

You can watch the MotoGP page at https://www.motogp.com/en/calendar for more info. COTA will update their website after that. If you like, COTA has bike (bicycle) night Tuesdays starting back up in August or so and a few of us ride the track for $10. Beer and food trucks afterwards.

Are 2021 MotoGP CoTA tickets not available now?

The problem with road courses is that you get to see about four seconds of racing per lap; that’s about a minute and a half of racing over a 20-lap MotoGP event.
I've sat in turn 15 a couple times. You get to see them coming down the back stretch then thru turns 12-15. There was a large screen in turn 15 to watch the rest of the course. But you're right. You're waiting a bit before the leader comes screaming down the back stretch again.

Ain’t no shade over there either.
