When someone figures out that that is a cultural problem, not related to melanin, maybe something can be done about it.
They already figured out the "problem" but, unfortunately, they consider it advancing their agenda - gun control, controlling free speech, and other socialist goals.

And, before you ask, yes - I do paranoia a lot.

I'm shocked, the way the media reports crimes I was expecting the white male to be a major offender on the list. Not even close

I moved there in '94. It was still nice and fairly quiet, but you could definitely see the writing on the wall

Hell I grew up in Pflugerville from 73 to 92. If you got there in 94, you missed it all. Acqua Fest was on it’s last legs by then and was the last of the good things, really. The inly holdover has been the Livestock Show.

That'll never happen in Austin. It's lost. Then again, Willie Nelson was campaigning vigorously for Robert Francis O'Rourke. WTF? What isn't lost at this point.

I moved to Austin when my dad retired from the US Army in 1959. (I was in high school)
Have seen lots of good things & too many bad ones, but am not going to give up on the town. Politics be damned.
    Pendulums do swing.
