Practiscore is a software app for iOS and Android systems to help with setting up, scheduling and conducting matches. My club has been using it for several years now with a great deal of success. Like any software system there is some education and experience necessary to make it work best for your interests. To learn more go to their website. In addition to asking questions and learn from experienced users check out the Practiscore community forum. When I asked I got prompt and informative replies.

Several years ago I was an acting match director and knew nothing about the software. So the best way for me to learn was to make videos as if I was teaching someone how to use Practiscore. If they would be useful to you they are linked on the Practiscore website here along with other instructional videos. My videos were made for my club's situation and internet/WiFi access. Your situation may be very different. Ask the forum experts.

Do you know the search terms? That could be something to add to the knowledge bank.

For some places yes. For example I knew there was a steel challenge match in College Station this past week.

"College Station", "Navasota", "Steel", "Texas" ALL failed.

    The full title was:

CCI Area 4 Steel Challenge Championship

I did not know CCI was sponsor, or it was Area 4 (as opposed to Texas).

Also, as soon as match starts, you can no longer find it under matches, you have to wait till scores are posted and then search under scores.

Similar issues for searching for matches at the Dallas Pistol Club. None of those words are search terms. They use initials "DPC".....

All good points. I have asked the community forum for best way to find match not knowing key title terms. Or if traveling and don't know names of nearby clubs to search by the location and what they might be hosting. Let's see if they can help.

The easiest solution is if you could enter a zip code, and it would give ALL matches within 25/50/100/etc miles.

Here is one possible solution. From the Practiscore home page there is blue update location button. I have circled it on the attachment. By following the instructions I moved my 'location' from TX to another state and up popped gun clubs. Clicking on the popups led to links and details on matches. Not a zip code search more move across the county and drop in. Try it and let this forum know how it works.

BTW: IThis video shows how the Dallas Pistol Club links shooters to Pracitscore registration. It can be done on one's mobile phone.
