Been trying to use cash for 1-2 months now. It is going so so. So I don't use my back pockets at all and front left is wallet, front right is phone. Keys front left belt loop. I like my money to be perfect. But it seems like my money is difficult to put in the wallet and possibly works itself out. Bending the corners as I put it in and still not being deep enough and then getting tears in the fold area when it tries to work out. I have some kind of bi fold. I'm also not sure where to put the change half the time because I haven't had pockets in years on jeans that are very usable.

I usually carry about 12 bills unless I know I'm going shopping. I have about 9 cards/ids. I don't carry change but get change back. I've spent hours on amazon looking the last few months and don't like anything. I do see Rodeo style wallets and even women's purses/wallets that look nice, but don't know if they will fit in my pocket. Any suggestions?

    Thanks,

Get a money clip for the bills and put the cards into a business card wallet.

    Have you considered a purse?

I'd suggest figuring out how to pare down the card count.
    -Govmnt ID
    -Insurance card
    -Credit card
    -Debit card

I have been using western style leather wallets for a great number of years now, even pre-dating my having a smart phone.

What I have done is the wallet holds my slim smart phone perfectly, and I can carry just the bare minimum of cards, ID and cash as well, and all in one place.

I carry the Spartan. 2 in the last 10 years.

Sounds like the C.M.C. might fit your needs better.

I keep ID and one credit card only in my wallet. I use this phone case and have one credit card in it and can slip a few bills in it if needed. I throw change in a container in my car for later use in car washes. I keep cash on hand if needed but almost always use the card. I pay it off every month. If I am robbed no big deal. I almost never carry my debit card and only use it at my bank. I can cancel anything lost almost immediately online. I keep my insurance online through GEICO and have the current card downloaded to my phone if needed. I do everything I can online as it is much easier and safer for me.

I do, but that doesn't mean you will have a chance to defend yourself. I would rather lose the wallet with minimal in it and everything easily cancelled, than have to deal with shooting someone, unless they force my hand. When I taught my daughters I told them the last thing you want to have to do is shoot anyone unless you really have to, to save a life. A wallet and ID/CC isn't it. I usually carry no cash and the CC is covered. I am not John Wayne even though I imagine I am at times.

I can agree with this to a certain extent. It depends upon what methods they would use to relieve me of those items. Simply a pick-pocket or grabber running off with them? Nope, not worth shooting someone.

Using a gun or a knife? All bets are off, and I'll do what is needed for the benefit of all.

Assuming you even get the chance. They already have the drop on you if they are robbing you. Like I said, if a life is in danger then okay.

    Out here by the lake!
As far as change goes I dump it first chance I get! If I buy something in a bag it goes in the bag. If it goes in my pocket when I get to my truck it goes into the counsel. When I get home it goes into a jar.

Most times it’s part of part of a tip. Change also ends up a lot of times in the washing machine. Change just wears out pockets or needs to avoid your pocket pistol!
