    One of the table legs disappeared on the move. Can anyone here cut something similar?

    In the woods...
    I know it won't please your other half, but a 2x4 cut to the appropriate length could serve as a temporary fix - until you find a replacement. Do you think it bounced out of the pickup or trailer? Or do you think the movers lost it?

    misplaced and will turn up right after I cut a spare

    500 is a bit high, but they have to buy the wood, depending on species that could get pricy. Then they have to set up jigging then cut and finish the wood so 250 for a one off special cut would be bottom end.
