Just got a haircut and trimmed the beard a little more than I originally wanted to but oh well at least it's even again.

I'm half-Asian but I can grow a beard like a Viking. If I don't shave, I look like Gimli from Lord of the Rings in about a year. I'm not sure what happened there as my brother can't grow a beard to save his life. Genetics... Anyway, I keep mine somewhat closely trimmed with the goat and stache a bit thicker. I shave everything above the lip line and below the scalp that isn't sideburns/connective beard tissue. Ladies seem to love it and all the men are jealous of it. I'm considering naming it.

Nawww, I think it's just weird Asian/Caucasian gene lotto. I also grow very little body hair and about zero chest hair, yet my little brother has a fine matte on his. He also has brown hair and mine is black. I'm also 3 inches taller. :D

    Necrothread resurrect.

So Younggun you still got it? Should be looking pretty good after 8 years.

I've generally kept a short beard since I got out of the Army. Or would let it go a month and shave it off. I am now about 4 months into a beard. Learning about beard products and grooming. Going to let it go through winter and once it's hot again will likely take it off.

Get yourself a decent boar hair brush and some beard balm. It keeps it all decent and prevents beard dandruff. I use Honest Amish. 1 tin will last a long time. The wife likes the smell as well.

No BS when I met you a few weeks back I wanted to ask about your beard. Seemed kinda gay on the first meet though. Thanks for tip!
