Hi guy i am thinking about putting a red dot on my AK, but i dont know anything about scopes. I was looking around and found these two that seem like good deals and they include the mount (at least thats the impression i got)
AK 30mm Red Dot w/See-Thru Mount New

AK 33mm Reflex Sight & See-Thru Mount New

Has anyone used these or know anything about them?

also is there a way i can know what i will see throught these scopes before i buy them the website is quite low on details and i havent had much luck finding other stuff on them.

Those are both cheap pieces of crap.

You want to avoid dust cover mounts. They do not hold zero and flex under fire. Those are also cheap chinese optics.

Tantal (aka Doug Ford in Texas) has the best optics options for Kalashnikovs.

    +1.

The general rule of thumb regarding red dot scopes and mounts is you get what you pay for. There are always a few who buy cheap stuff that works fine and never causes problems, but those are the rare exceptions. Get a side mount system for your AK or an Ultimak and then get a quality dot such as EoTech or Aimpoint. You will not regret those purchases one bit.
