    Ooo serious flashback! I repaired radios and TVs for my parents and neighbors. I started as a freshman in high school. RCA tubes were pretty good, sylvania kind of hit or miss. Forget about any off brands. Some of them wouldn’t even light the cathode heater. Met a couple of cute girls, but I was terminally shy at the time. If I knew then what I know now…Doh!
