My grandkids will be shooting a first year vintage sa35.

Will your glock still be around in 30 to 40 years?
Pretty sure they will still be around. Why wouldn't they be?

Keep that POS oiled. Don't want it to rust away.

Make sure and let your grandkids know that Springfield was all in on gun control until they got outed and you got a stiffy because they released a 100 year old gun as new because they removed one bad feature. I'm sure they'll be super excited about the whole deal.

This is a brilliant move for Springfield. The Hi Power is one of the finest pistols ever made. It fits perfectly in your hand and shoots beautifully. Seeing the ads for the SA-35 makes me want to buy one, but I have a Browning that I picked up before they stopped making them and the prices skyrocketed.

Dump the magazine safety and no GRIPZONE and I'll consider it.

My Belgian HP never sees range time because the trigger pull is so awful. It gauged at 13.5lbs for a single action pull.

They did dump the mag disconnect and no gripzone. Trigger pull from reviews varies 3.8 to 4.7lbs single action.

Support the Turks, or support home grown turds - hard choice - but I'd support American shitheads before Turkish shitheads.

I would have bought one yesterday at Shoot Point Blank if they had any.

I don't know why, because I have a Sig P229 Elite I got before the fausivirus that has not been shot.

I would love to have one to compare with my Hi Power. I did a trigger job on mine that brought it down to 3.5lbs, removed the magazine disconnect and added a different hammer. It is the best shooting and most accurate 9mm I have ever owned. I have over 5000 rounds through it and it has only had one malfunction. I had one of my reloads that was too long and it jammed upon trying to load. The hammer, trigger, thumb safety and slide release are Cylinder & Slide parts. I also installed Tritium sights front & rear.

I'll buy one. I learned to shoot handguns with a Hi-Power, but I have never owned one as an adult. Coming with one magazine is a little bit weird but won't stop me from purchasing when I find one in a store.
