Technically and by most, 45 Long Colt never really existed. Still seems to be debated by some though. As there was the 45 S&W Schofield, that some have referred to as the 45 Short Colt.

In Texas all they can do in an official capacity is enforce law. "House rules" (like pool hours at an apt) or most workplace safety stuff isnt state law and couldnt be enforced.

I still feel no sympathy for him at all. None. Not even a smidge. He chose to handle a dangerous weapon, supposedly with no knowledge of how it worked or the safety protocols involved. He has been involved with enough films with guns that he should know the one cardinal rule he should have known that would have kept it from happening.
Always assume a gun is loaded.
Most of the example in the article do not contain that level of disregard for the life or safety of another person.
No matter how the gun came to be loaded on set, that one thing could have saved a life and an injury.
Always assume a gun is loaded and don't point it at anything you are not willing to shoot. Especially if you have not personally cleared the gun.
I know non gun owners and anti gun owners that know and understand that rule.
Baldwin is full of shit. He wants sympathy for a lack of judgement and for being stupid.
He gets none from me.
Mine goes to those he shot and their families. Baldwin can choke on his self pitty for all I care.

Like Glock refusing to put Sig's name on their guns, calling their .357 Sig ".357 Auto" in the rollmarks and in literature about the gun. I think they just refer to .40SW as ".40" on the chambers.
