was able to shoot a test model at my local PSA shop/range here in South Carolina. smooth with no more felt recoil than my g43 and very light. only issue was a tiny bit of trigger lag on reset. would buy one in the near future.

@Moonpie is all over this - I bet he buys out the whole stock so he can have them custom refinished in all the neon colors of the spectrum!

These things look nicer than Glocks. The slide is certainly P320 inspired as far as lines go. Taken with a bottle of salt - the OoooToobers aside from the obvious shills do report these things being pretty reliable, and good shootin'. They're already sold out, too!

So it’s basically a reasonably priced Glock? I just had an acquaintance ask for a LTC class and he was going to buy his first real home defense gun. He said he wanted a Glock because all the reviews online said Glock was the best

Yes, it's a good Glock clone that sells for what a Glock sold for in the early 1990s. IIRC the internals are based on the Generation 3 Glock 19, this just has different ergonomics and minor cosmetic differences.

my dad actually bought the HS2000 for $200 or so when it first came out, and it was touted as the Glock clone for half the price. Then Springfield rebranded it as the XD and jacked up the price.
