Just filed one last month and no, I’ve never been a victim of hit & run, however my daughter was last year. She had the plate number and gave that to the insurer who tracked down who the vehicle was registered/insured with and subrogated to them. No deductible, no premium increase.

I’m curious if your carrier associates with a lizard.

That 911 is clearly after the shooting.

"Police say Morales intentionally hit the man while he was on his motorcycle"

well that was a quick investigation.
Listen again there bud. She's yelling and then shooting. The original article said that one of the other bikers was on the phone with 911 when everything went down. So they did call the police first.

****. I focused on all the talking after the shooting.

Yeah is just a few seconds before shooting. And call could have been clipped so it might have started sooner.

    Perhaps.

The dispatch audio seems to indicate that the witness and the motorcyclist did not know each other. If a stranger is willing to follow another stranger involved as a victim in a potential crime, perhaps there was actually a crime committed.

From my armchair, the motorcyclist was acting rational during these circumstances, IMO he was when officers approached him. The pregnant woman did not; she allegedly hit the motorcyclist, bolted from the scene. Not rational behavior from any normal law-abiding citizen. Then she drives home, proceeds to enter her house to retrieve a loaded gun and go back outside.

That is NOT an action by a rational woman. That is batshit crazy. If she was truly afraid for her life, SHE (and yes, because she is a woman), would have hid inside her house and call police. He wasn't trying to break down her door to get to her.

And he is free out on streets, LE seem to think he is OK to mingle with the rest of society for now.

Yeah after 911 call, that is how I see it.

You must have never filed a police report here. NOTHING happens. I've been the victim of hit and run a few times. All that happened was my insurance went up and I'm out a deductible
Yep, happened to me right as we were thawing out from the ice storm earlier in the year. Guy thought he could make a second left turn lane and turned in front of me. Tagged his door and fender, knocked off the drivers mirror and he ran. Fortunately my truck was faster than his Toyota and I chased him down and pulled over in a parking lot. As soon as he heard the cops are on the way, he bolted. I was out of the truck and at his drivers door so no way I could have chased him down again. Got the whole incident on my dash cam with lic plate# though. Told the cops they can have the film, but they said who ever the investigator is will contact me if they need it. They gave me a case# and I never heard a word back.

11 year old daughter and pregnant.

    WTF. Lady.

being a guy with several kids, I can tell you pregnant women sometimes have moments when their emotions get riled up.

wondering if this played into this situation.

tragic either way. Why didn’t she call 911 and wait? Is it possible she’s didn’t realize she had clipped the bike? Obviously not severe damage to the bike since he followed her on it.

and why didn’t the biker call 911 and wait for the cops? She had already exhibited erratic behavior by running. What did he think he was going to accomplish by confronting a person known to do erratic things?

civil case could happen over this. If I was her husband I’d sue him. While he may not have had criminal actions it seems he had other options besides shooting a pregnant woman.

They did. They were on the phone with 911 when she came out pointing a gun.

Seriously though. We bitch at liberals for not getting the fact straight with Rittenhouse, but so many on this thread have made assumptions or asked questions to answers that are already available.

Woman alone being followed by a biker gang to her home. Hmmmmm.......
After she hit and ran. Facts as they are, good shoot.
she could have called 911. She didn’t. “Bikers” did call 911. “Biker” has valid carry permit. No word on whether government employee did, but if she did, I am sure it would be mentioned.

Does the government employee need a carry permit at her house?

Obviously something wasn't right with her.

Apparently hit the guy on purpose.

    Took off.

Ignored requests to stop several times from witnesses.

    Headed home
I never go home if I think someone is following me and she obviously knew they were following her by her actions and words.
Being caught in the drive way getting out of a car is a bad tactical position.

She never called police that I know of.

She cane out of the house after reaching the relative safety inside.

She came out waving a gun at the witnesses.

I bet he regrets following her but it wasnt unreasonable to do so as long as there isnt some high speed dangerous chase and by the reports they all obeyed traffic lights and such and several people did so.

Something else was wrong with her. She went all kinds of crazy. Now shes dead an unborn child is dead, another motherless and several peoples lives are ruined. For what?
