New to the the site and thought I would introduce myself. I am a longtime collector and avid shooter of many types of firearms. As my handle indicates I have a lifelong love of quality 1911 pistols. In addition to my gun hobby and addiction I am into vintage cars and have been a Harley rider for over 35 years. Located in the SW Austin area and look forward to participating in many of the discussions in the forums.

I like 1911s! I currently have a stainless Commander and a stainless Officer's model.

Most of mine are blue or black but do love the stainless models as well. Just traded a stainless DW Commander for an AK variant in fact. Currently have a stainless government model.

I have owned Knuckles, Pans, Shovels and Evo's over the years. Currently riding a 2006 Springer, 2013 Deluxe and a 2020 Street Bob. Love them all!! Do you ride PinnedandRecessed? Looks like we are located not far from each other.
