Welcome from NAS Pensacola, home of the Blue Angels.
I forgot to mention that I really love me some aircraft too. While I do have a fondness for WW2 aircraft, I really do enjoy all types. Heck I even went through my private pilot ground school and my intro flight to flight training. It was then where I realized that private pilot just wasn't for me.

At any rate, here is one of the shots I grabbed at one of the Wings Over Dallas events.

Welcome - great pics! Love the "random pic" where you can see the smoke coming out of the handgun shell casing after eject.

Thanks! I chalk that one up to the saying, "Even a blind squirrel finds a nut every now and again". :) Seriously, those shots are so difficult to get. Brass coming out of the gun, easy! But to have that particular stage setup where you get just the right angle of sunlight AND the shutter happens to open just at the right time of the string of burst shots, and even then that focus better be dead on. Out of the hundreds and hundreds of brass coming out of the gun shots, maybe 3-4 are like this one.

After typing all that, one would think I'm a bit more of a photography dork than I am a gun dork....LOL

@DFW_Warrior your wife looks pretty Bad Ass like she is a natural operator!
    Awesome!
Thanks! She is loving the Tactical Games, and seems to do pretty good at it too. I'm pretty darn proud of her that is for sure. Those competitions are NOT easy at all and she is one of the smallest competitors. Luckily she has been able to leverage her shooting skills that she learned from shooting years of 3-gun and carry that over. While it is a very physical competition, it is still a shooting competition and I think a lot of the competitors seem to forget that. She doesn't. :)

You’ll get there. The biggest thing I would say is don’t overthink the fitness side of it. Generally be fit, have some good basic techniques for lifting heavy and awkward things, and miss as few of the shots as possible. If you do those things, it will take you a long way.

Hey there, I'm new to this place but not new to firearms. I've been competing fairly seriously for 6-7 years now, mainly in 3-gun. My Wife and I travel the southern part of the country shooting various matches during our free time. I typically compete in the Heavy Division as well as Tac Ops and she is usually competing in either Limited/Tac Irons or also Heavy. My Wife is also a glutton for punishment so she also competes in The Tactical Games events around the country where she does fairly well with them.

As luck would have it, I also love photography so I've also tried to combine these two things and I've started to take get decently involved in action photography at these events too. Anywho, that's me in a nutshell. And now for some photos. :)

Anyways, looks like a pretty good forum y'all have going on here. Hopefully I'll fit in well here and post some interesting content from time to time. Cheers!
    Welcome. Nice photos.

Really appreciate the positive words man! Overthinking things is my Achilles heel LOL
