Precint 5 Constable. Suspect came out with an AR before he had a chance to get out or draw his weapon. Neck and head wounds, was DOA at the scene. I think a citizen heard the shots and called it in.

Traffic stops are hard.

You have to assume any stop can result in a guy jumping out with a SAW and opening up, but if you made stops with that in mind, the public would go ballistic. So you are very vulnerable.
