I'm good. Thanks for checking. It's getting crazy, but the crooks in Harris county know whats up. Low bonds. Proactive policing is pretty much dead. The crooks know this and know that we can't lay holy hands on them like we used to.

The shooter in this case had another full auto Glock with a 33rd mag. This isn't the first time we had to deal with one on a shooting.

I sure don't miss Houston. Were I lived just inside the loop @ South Main was sporadic gun fire every night. I can't wait for the next hurricane to strand a bunch of those cockroaches so they start shooting each other for purple drank & chicken.

A 50 something here, and Ive spent all but 4 years of my life in Houston, and I gotta say, I can’t wait to get out. I guess in the last 10-15 years it started getting out of hand, and the five years or so have been just total sh!t. These guys ride two stroke dirt bikes and four wheelers down Westheimer. Who does that? Total disregard for the law. A guy was taking a leak on the sidewalk on Westheimer and Wilcrest at 10am. Paper license tags galore. Stupid base music in their cars running around at all hours of the night. I smell pot at many of the red lights when on my motorcycle. I want out.
I would not want to be a cop in this world. I actually toyed with that idea some 30 years ago, but my uncle (HPD at the time) talked me out of it. It was a thankless job back then, so I can’t imagine how the officers feel today.
